PRO STUDIO STUDIO G2 FFF 3D PRINTER

PLA Antibacteria (Poly-Lactic Acid) is a general-use thermoplastic material for open-environment 3D printing. It provides lasting antimicrobial protection against a variety of bacteria, fungi, yeasts, and algae fungus.

BigRep PLA Antibacteria is a bacteriostatic material that inhibits the growth of bacteria and other harmful microbes by an enzymatic reaction. The active metal ion incorporated in the PLA polymer to achieve this effect does not negatively impact PLA's mechanical or printing properties. It is an ideal material for use in hospitals, beauty salons, shops, or anywhere where users wish to prevent the presence of harmful microorganisms. Printing with the material between the recommended 195 and 215 °C does not affect the material's antibacterial properties.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Lifelong antimicrobial properties (bacteriostatic)
  • Highly versatile properties
  • Low warping and shrinkage
  • Sustainable biopolymer
  • Food safe conform
